I officially have one piece of technology back in working order, well, sort of. Apple accepted “my baby chewed on my power cord head” under their warranty, so we have a new laptop charger. Unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced the camera attachment in our move, and my laptop doesn’t have a drive for the card, so I still can’t upload photos until the USB Memory card reader arrives on Wednesday. We’re taking the iMac in tonight because there is a “known issue” with our hard drive, so we should be back up and running by the end of the week. Phew, technology is a wonderful thing until it all breaks at once.
We found time to do a few cool things around this house this Labor Day weekend. Along with going to the Nationals game, a concert in the park with our new group of “friends with kids”, the zoo, and the kids first movie in the theater. We’re pooped, but had a blast. Here’s a sneak peak at one of our projects, if you’ll forgive the iPhone pics:
Our family pictures arrived, and we needed a way to display them, so we got our saws and stain out and made some sweet picture frame ledges.
I’ll have a tutorial up by the end of the week, along with some shutter painting pics. For now, I’m sorting through my old maternity clothes and chasing this crazy kid around the house. I hope everyone else had a great holiday weekend!
